HOD LA Hang

Joe's Mech and Da Chuch mentioned in another thread about a gig I am playing this weekend. For any and all HODers that want to hang, this would be a fun place.

This is an outdoor gig. I posted a few clips from last years gig where we played Anita Baker and AWB's Pick Up the Pieces. Well, this is the same group.

I wanted to let you know that this Sunday, August 14th at 7:30 PM, we have our summer concert series and I will be playing the drums.

This year, we are playing a mix of smooth jazz, Brazilian, Motown, R&B, and a few other surprises.

This is a very family friendly event and would LOVE to see you.

Btw good luck at the gig danny! I have your recording of pick up the pieces from last years event and often listen to it! Seems like an awesome band to be in and some awesome musicians to play with!

Danny, how long are you guys going to play? I totally forgot that I am suppose to have dinner with some people, and might not be able to make it out.

Just got home from our last practice. These songs are HARD!

Anyway, we're playing from about 7:30-10:00 or so. Maybe not quite that late.

Tonight, the group decided that I'm supposed to take a drum solo. UGH! First they wanted a free from solo, which I can't stand. So, I suggested taking a solo a la Erskoman in Steely Dan's Josie. So, I'm going to ATTEMPT to solo, WITH A CLICK. Should be pretty funny! [img]eek.gif[/img]
